About me

Open your eyes to the beauty around you, open your mind to the wonders of life, open your heart to those who love you, and always be true to yourself.

Philosophy

Discover potential & resources

I would like to support my clients in discovering strength and potential in their history and in themselves. Something that they may not even be able to see yet.

Authenticity

Authenticity for me means having the courage to show oneself as one really is or as one has wanted to be for a long time.

Openness & Diversity

I approach different lifestyles, relationship models, beliefs, identities and sexual orientations in an open and appreciative way.

My practice is therefore a safe place for those who experience marginalisation and discrimination (e.g. racism, sexism, ableism, heteronormatism etc.). I am aware of my limited perspective as a white woman who has been socialised in a society with a long tradition of group-focused emnity, and I am working on becoming more sensitive to this.

The mountain metaphor

Both clients and therapists are climbing their own mountains. On a mountain path there may be stones that have to be moved aside, thorns along the way, breaks that one has to take or gorges that one can fall into. There are also beautiful flowers, fresh air and friendly companions.

As a therapist, I can see the client’s life-mountain with a more complete view, from a distance. I will accompany you to find out which way you want to go and give you the equipment to help you find your way back and see the beautiful things along the way more clearly.
